A corn is a localized thickening of the skin due to pressure. Corns usually develop on parts of the feet that don't bear weight, such as the tops and sides of toes. Corns can be painful when pushed or may cause a dull ache. Corns occur in frequently due to shoes that don't fit properly; toe deformities, such as hammer toe or claw toe; high heeled shoes; rubbing against a seam or stitch inside the shoe and socks that don't fit properly.

Abies balsamea

As a cold remedy (resin); in folk remedies for cancers, corns, and warts (buds, resin and sap)

Allium sativum

Arteriosclerosis, arthritis, asthma, athlete's foot; bladder, kidney and ear (including earache) ailments, boils, bronchitis, cancer, canker sores, common cold, corns, cough, dysmenorrhea, indigestion, fever, infections, inflammations, influenza and leukemia.

Anacardium occidentale

For diarrhea, dysentery, colic, as an internal and external antiseptic against bacterial infections, for all kinds of stomach ulcers, for ear and eye infections and to stop bleeding and heal wounds. For calluses, corns, and warts, cancerous ulcers, and even elephantiasis (fruit bark juice and the nut oil); dysentery, fever, inappetence, leucoderma, piles, tumors, and obstinate ulcers (fruit); for sore throat (leaf decoction)

Calendula officinalis

HIV, wounds (plant); eye diseases (flower infusion);in ointments for treating wounds, malignant ulcers, frost-bite and skin-damage, and scars; in dental pharmacology and for fumigation amenorrhea, cancer, conjunctivitis, corns, as a depurative agent, in fever, influenza, Hodgkin's disease, internal ulcers, vomiting, sore muscles, sprains, minor burns.

Cannabis sativa

In hydrocele (bark); anorexia, urinary tract problems (including bladder inflammation), cancer and tumors, common cold, corns, cough, depression and as a psychological aid, glaucoma, gonorrhea, nausea, for sores, varicose veins, gout and rheumatism, in the treatment of alcohol withdrawal, anthrax, asthma, blood poisoning, constipation caused by debility or fluid retention

Carica papaya

For warts, cancers, tumors, corns, and indurations of the skin (juice); to help tumors of the uterus (sinapisms prepared from the root); to cure piles and yaws (roots); reduce urine acidity in humans (papaya); for jaundice (flowers); used in psoriasis, ringworm, and prescribed for the removal of cancerous growths (latex); to treat skin diseases, indigestion, enlargement of liver and spleen, worms, diseases of heart, cough and fever (fruit, leaves, latex and seeds);

Jasminum grandiflorum

Diseases of the skin (flower) and ear (leaf); canker sores, toothache and corns (leaf). A palatable syrup prepared from the flowers is employed in coughs, hoarsenesses and disorders of the breast.

Jasminum officinale

Applied to corns and ear discharges (leaf juice); ringworm infection (root); depression, nervous tension, impotence, frigidity, menstrual disorders and weak digestion (oil).

Linum usitatissimum

For increasing nerve strength and as a cardiac tonic (flower); gout and rheumatism (seed oil); cancer, colds, constipation, corns, cough, intoxication, pulmonary disorders, sclerosis, spasms, tumors, gallstones, urogenital diseases and as a poultice, soothes irritated tissues, controls coughing and relieves pain.

Pimenta dioica

To treat arthrosis, athlete’s foot, bruise, candidiasis, cold, colic, corns, cramps, diabetes, diarrhea, dysmenorrhea, dyspepsia, fatigue, fever, gastric disorders, gingivosis, high blood pressure, mycosis, neuralgia, rheumatism, toothache, vaginosis.

Piper nigrum

In malaria, as a diuretic and in various gastrointestinal problems (fruit), cancer (especially that of the nose), corns, gonorrhea, headache, sores, swellings, cholera, craw-craw and dhobey itch, as an aromatic stimulant for disorders such as coma, good for constipation, also on the urinary organs; externally it is a rubefacient, useful in relaxed conditions of the rectum when prolapsed.

Styrax benzoin

Used in the treatment of asthma, bronchosis, cancer, catarrh, colic, constipation, corn, cough, cramp, dermatosis, enterosis, gout, immunodepression, laryngosis, nervousness, rheumatism, stomachache, stroke and ulcer.

Trifolium pratense

For asthma, whooping cough and bronchitis (flower); in treating athlete's foot, bronchitis, burns, cancer, constipation, diuretic, expectorant, gall-bladder stones, gout, liver diseases, pertussis, rheumatism, skin sores, ulcers, for sore eyes and as a salve for burns (plant); for cancerous ulcers, corns etc. (flower extract)

Triticum aestivum

For cancers, corns, tumors, warts, and whitlow (seeds); biliousness and intoxication (young stems); malaise, sore throat, thirst, abdominal coldness and spasmic pain, constipation and cough (seed sprout)
